Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Paint question. Interior/Engine Plastics...

im planning on painting my interior and engine plastics soon. i really loved the way DJ_Curtiz's came out. heres the info he gave on the paint he used:

Color Number on the Cap: 8149 FM

For the Clear Cote:

3 shades of each. now my question is: that paint he used on his interior.. can i use the exact same paint for my engine plastics? or are they not high temp paint? i want to make sure i get the exact same shade of blue for both so it will all match. thx in advance.

the engine paint requires a 500+ high heat paint...
I doubt the paint he used for his interior was that...
you will have to buy two different kinds of paint, unless you would rather use the high heat on the interior also...

hmm... i guess ill just have to try my best to match the blues. i really like that shade of blue on his car. ill get as close as i can for the engine plastics.
