if you have joined the GB on C2 last yr you would only spend less than that. way less. plus all you have to do is pay the initial installment of 500 buck via wire trnsfer then you can pay up the rest.

Man you saved up a lot in a short amount of time. is it 4000$ just for parts and everything or is that including the installation.

if you are running at 5 psi.. tuning wouldn't be a lot. If you start increasing the boost then you wallet's gonna start feeling the pain grin

st1 should be around 5K+ with the upgrade of clutch, flywheel, parts and misc, labor, and tunning. ofcourse labor can be saved if you install it yourself.

if you increase the boost you will also increase your expenses. engine upgrades, possible tranny upgrade depending on the amount of boost.

there's a guy in new celica dor org who's selling is c2 st1 for 3K with i believe 1K miles on it. the price is still high but if you can negotiate with him, i guess he can lower it. if that was around 2800, i would thing it's reasonable

well, $4,000 is stage 1 shipped, i have an auto so since its stage 1 i dotn have to upgrade the tranny unless i wanna go stage 2 , i have an install quatoe so far of $800 so lets just say ill have the turbo sittin on my dresser for a while so i can wake up and admire it everyday lol, im a little uneasy about buying used performance parts so ill keep saving, im hoping itll just require minimal tuning since im only gonna be running 6 psi, itll work with an auto fine, i wish i coulda got in on the group buy oh well, how much has anyone else saved up?
