I have a decent muffler...how come when i first start the car, i dont actually hear the muffler work, but as the engine gets warmer, it makes a good sound? Why doesnt it just make a good sound all the time?

When I find myself in a position like this, I ask myself what would General Motors do? And then I do the opposite!

It's not a V8 that pushes out a lot of exhaust and has that nice rumble when you start it up. That's just how the engine works though, you gotta let it warm up to operating temperature; nothing you can do about it, unfortunately. thumbsup
