interior Carbon Fiber is rice and fake Carbon Fiber is even more. Either paint it or leave it stock.

heh i think paint is more rice then carbon fiber. if your talking dash i like the looks of the carbon fiber dash kits. i happen not to like bright colors in the interior myself so i guess thats why im partial to the carbon fiber. brushed aluminum looks hot too

paint chips if you don't do it properly. i say paint is the best expecially if you match the center console with the color of your car.

paint will chip and scratch so easily specially in the center console where ur constantly messin around putting stuff in the cupholder and shifting or just daily use... damage done will look hideous on paint!!!!! I dont care how proper you do it it will scratch/chip. unless ur car is a show car you will have to repaint and recoat and all that bs. Paint is a big thumbsdown in my book. for daily drivers atleast.

i would like it a lot better if it didnt need to the screws to hold it in place. i would rather use like a silicone or something. but thats just me

yeah i know what it is, im just saying i think it would look nicer if there was another way to attach it, but aluminum wont "click" into anything. but then again it appears he like the screw look since he said it was more racer looking. you can tell its overkill with them im sure he didnt need the many to hold it in place. also he could have used a flat top screw or something to make it more flush. but he got it to look the way he wants which is good, just not for me.

I always believed and still do painting the interior looks like a Jerry Springer show that went good or a high school's art history class project as does fake carbon fiber all around.

I cringe on the pics of a painted center console and engine plastics.
My niece of 10 would never do such a thing... why should you. At least she would chose a better color and she could paint it.
Maybe, some craft time and let her do it. At least it would keep her occupied.

Keep it stock, get some good quality carbon fiber set up in there, or something completely custom like the aluminum.

I think painting center console bright colors is stupid... If I ever get the balls to paint mine, I'm doing it high gloss black... Any other color would be kinda stupid... I like voodoo's though.. his looks real nice... I like the blue and black thats about it
