a/f gauges installation?

Hey guy...i'm planning to put on my gauges (A/F) this up coming weekend..I did some numerous search which o2 sensor is right..In the pic..some said to connect #1 and some said to connect #2...some ppl said wire #1 the rpm run crazy back and forth and its the wire before the cat...wire #2..some said it calm down and the reading more accurate and should used that wire b/c it's also before the cat..SO WHAT IS THE CORRECT WIRE TO TAPPED INTO??..

P>S..should i tapped the wire or should i solder it????
