thanks yall even though turbo= more power and cheaper then SC, its also a lot more pain with tuning and changing out internals...so im looking more into the superchargers and plus i dont want to much strain on my engine ...so does anyone know any other superchargers for a GTS thats cheaper then the blitz($6,000)

yeah i wouldn't be worrying about the stress. if you want more power find another car. there is a TRD supercharger you can get. it only adds 40 hp though. and cost about 3 grand.

For drag racing a turbo is better. For autox a supercharger is better. A rotrex supercharger on the celica puts you at around 270 whp. A roots type supercharger is instant power so is sweet for the celica since acceleration sucks in the celi but wont put you at such high hp numbers. Superchargers can sound very sweet when they are whineing up.
