Is a TRD supercharger on a 1zz-fe legal in CA?

great rule of thumb for california laws... if you have to ask if its "legal" 90% of the time it's not.

If its not standard equipment then the answer is no. Its an emissions thang

california is full of hippies and tree huggers. anything that plays or removes stock smog equipment for example resonators, cats, egr, adjustable fuel and air controllers is considered illegal in the eyes of california.
