CAI, SRI and pfssss sound of sucking air

Hello.

I got 2000 Celica GT 6-gears.

I want to upgrade my Air inteke to Injen Cald Air Intake. but I have to know few things befor I buy CAI.

- I live in Norway where we have a lot os snow and water on the roads.
Will Filter Shild for Injen CAI fix that problem?

- I read that people who has GTS and CAI gat a pfssss soud of sucking air. Will CAI on GT do the same? How good you can hear it?
(Any one who has GT and CAI)

- Will SRI give same pfsss sound as CAI?

- Is it a big difference between CAI and SRI?

I hope for answers. Please help me. I know a lot about Celica as a car but almost nothing about car modifications.

Thx,
Martin

well dude, i'll help ya, one. get the CAI NOW, not tommorore, NOW. you wont have any probs in the winter, its been 8 degrees at my house, and i havent had any problems, i have driven in snow, rain, sleet, just bout anything (damn pennsyallvani) no probs at all, just cover the holes behind the wheel wheel, and you shouldnt have aprob, but also grab the splashgaurd, o and btw, b e ready for the first time you hit lift, its very differnt from SRI to CAI,and the pssssssssst soound is ten times louder. hit it up, buy the CAI, best investment i have done. peace.
