MR clean works but is expensive. Best thing i have ever bought is a carwash squeegee. Its at pepboys, purple hangle and plastic blade. Was liek $12 its int eh carwash section. After you wash you car i hose it donw again to prevent waterspots, the use the squeegee all over the car, esp windows. U wont get ti all dray and will ahve some line but then run and get urslef a towel and finish'er up.

Now you will have lint all on ur car so you need ot get a clean teeshirt, then whipe the dry car down with that to get all the lint off smile Its an art. My neighbor was a car detailer and he told me all the tricks smile thumbsup

I use the absorber as well. works great. A little tip: after your done wash and rinsing you car. take the nozzle off of the hose and rinse the car with the straight stream of water. instead of beading up most of the water will just roll off.

Oh and ive used the mr. clean thing as well. Works ok if its not too hot outside. And the filters and "special" soap are way over priced for the 4-5 times you get to use them.

Mr Clean Auto Dry works wonderfully...almost no drying needed.

You will NOT, however, get the advertised 10 washes per bottle. More like 4-5 depending on the minerals in the water in your area.

An absorber is like an artificial chamois. I think the absorber is the better of the two.

LOL...ive been known to use a leaf blower from time to time...little trick my grandpa showed me. Oh and it also works as a pretty good way to clean your interior. Just open up both doors and the rear hatch and blast away LOL thumbsup

I use the Absorber..but when you do make sure to rinse it off a lot as you dry because it has no depth like a terry cloth towl and if traps a partical of dirt can scratch your paint..So I rinse mine like 4times per drying or if I see it pickup some dirt. It dries very nice. Dont use that POS mr clean thing..yea its nice it leaves your car spotless without drying..BUT once it rains or gets wet again it looks like your vehical has NEVER been waxed in its life I just think its way over rated and sucks

I like the absorber to. I hate leather chamois.
I bought one once. It stunk, had like an oil film in it that wouldnt rinse off. Sucked at drying my truck. I threw a $20 leather one away after 1 day cause I think it was garbage. I like the absorber alot. Just gotta make sure you rinse it off a lot when drying

I personally wouldn't use a natural chamois, but an artifical one such as the absorber. Mainly due to cost and it does seem to work better.

hey mr. detail shop... don't hate... haha.. as far as i know... and absorber is a synthetic CHAMOIS.. so it would be just as good if not better than a leather CHAMOIS... plus animal friendly thumbsup

i started using the water blade first, then the absorber after that.. and then my air compressor to get into the lil cracks and weatherstripping and sideview Mirror and stuff. oh and on my wheels.. then wipe that down withthe absorber..

the water blade is awesome.. makes the job go by a lot faster (less wringing(sp) out the absorber).. and you dont use it like a squeegee.. you just use it to fling most the water off.

I use the Mr. Clean Auto Dry most of the time, but when I dry by hand I use 100% cotton baby diapers. You know, the kind you have to wash, not throw away. They're super absorbent and don't leave lint. Most proffessional detailers will sware by them.

For cleaning the glass I use a microfiber towel. It attracts dust and lint and leaves little to no lint.
