3s-gte is just too much power for the 7th gen celica. total cost and upcoming furture cost isn't pocket friendly. you're better of buying a new car with bigger engine if you want speed

With a little creativity, I'm sure you get an H22 to fit. They are cheap & powerful. thumbsup

Not at all, a few custom mounts, easily done with the right tools. I've seen a lot freakier things done than that. An H22 puts out a solid 200HP & you pick a used one up with a tranny & computer for about $2,500. The time will be in butchering the wiring harness, but that still aint too bad. Most engine swaps require splicing of the harness anyway.

yeah there is not doubt that the H22 is a great engine...i have nothing against honda...i mean they have an NSX...toyota has not super car that can compete with that on the current market...i emphisize current. supra does not count.

well if your going honda/acura then you should also consider toyota/lexus. the nsx isn't that hot of a car for the price it looks hot, but it's only 290hp and it's 90k! a bit too high. I like the honda S2k for honda cars the best. lexus is300 or sc430 are nice too..

I know a guy who did a CRX with an H22 for a total cost of about $2,500 & its pretty god dam fast. If he ever gets the cash together to put the turbo on it, it will be real scary. thumbsup thumbsup

...um the NSX-R is up to par with the High performance Lamborghini's, porches and ferarris. I think Best Motoring put like a stradale and other select exotics with the NSX and it did quite well considering the weight etc
