I'm considering buying a 2000 celica GT automaitic, and i was wondering if there were any cheap performance upgrades for them.

That is the slowest 7th gen you can buy... If you are wanting a fast car get a 6spd GTS... If you can't find one, then I'd say get a 5spd GT before you get an auto GTS.

*Edit: There are not very many cheap mods you can do to the Celica... If you want a cheap fast car get a DSM.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

Reading these posts makes me wonder. I used to drive an Auto GT, upgraded to a 6 Speed GTS, and now contemplating if I should trade it up for an Auto GT, lol.

I love lift sure, but sometimes I wish I can just cruise with an Auto. And gas prices is kicking my ass, I gotta save up to experience lift...lol/j.k.

Be careful, my auto GT came missing a few things:

- 40 HP
- 2nd cam profile
- 2 gears
- clutch pedal
