The cost including the clutch assmbly and labor came out $2500 and my extended warranty company took care of it.
I think the grinding problem from 5th to 4th shouldnt be the same on each of our cars. You might have different issue than i do, so i cant really tell rather if you replace the part that i listed above will definitely help your problem. The thing is whenever people talks about grinding gear issues, most of the member here tend to point at the synchro automatically. But my list above has nothing deal with the synchro?? and it took care my grinding issue from 5th to 4th...but the reverse still bugging hell out of me
I think im going back to AAMCO to have them check it again.
