I've got an '01 GT AUTO. Is the AEM CAI or short ram better for my situation. I'm already worried about loosing too much low end being and auto but hydrolock worries me also.

I wouldn't worry about hydrolock...people worry a lot but inless ur goin thru deep puddles you shouldn't have any worries...i'd get a CAI in my opinion

i'm gettin a short ram (4 more days  ).. i guess it depends on where you live.. in NY eeeeeeeevery thing floods.. i wouldnt want to take a chance..especially after the rainy summer we had here.

Just dont go off-roading in the celica and you shouldnt have any problems with the CAI.

Ive talked to several different ppl who works in the auto performance industry and asked which one is better, short ram or cai? they're answer was that theres hardly any difference. unless you're running a turbo or some other FI system there wont be much of a difference in gains.

Ive talked to several different ppl who works in the auto performance industry and asked which one is better, short ram or cai? they're answer was that theres hardly any difference. unless you're running a turbo or some other FI system there wont be much of a difference in gains. no difference  not tru with short ram you are gettin cool/warm engine air vs. cai is gettin fresh cold non engine air which in returns gives you more power just as long as the tubing isn't ungodly long then but the ones for the celicas are

CAI for performance...
shortram for show, no hydrolock, not as good in performance.
