I was just wondering if the short ram produces the same "sucking" sound, kinda like the CAI. Cuz thats all I really want, since here in Vancouver it gets really wet n stuff so im not too sure if I want the CAI. Thanks.

yea, but dont think it's as loud though. but you can hear it...unless you have an exhaust which is enough to drown it out.

well a lot of people say the short ram is actually louder. i had a injen short ram... and now i have a blitz short ram... the blitz makes this pfffffff sucking sound at really high rpm... and the injen made this really loud droning sound.. the injen sounded better to me... but i dunno this wannabe turbo sound is tight too. but anyways.. yah i think the short ram is louder.

The hissing sound comes from the throttle body and the valves going up and down at 43565687435 mph. When you turn your engine off, it goes... "whoooosssshhhhhhhhh" for like 1-2 seconds... thats the valves coming to a stop. So if you can hear that all the way through a long CAI pipe, you'll be sure to hear it through a short ram. I think.
