I am thinking about purchasing the x-1 fenders. My conern is that they are fiberglass..How will they hold up compared to the factory fenders? My celi has air ride now so i am wondering if the fenders would hold up alright tucking the tires up that far into the fenders when i sit it on the ground or would it be a waste of money since they are glass and might crack all the time when i drop my car too hard or something??

the ride quality on the air isnt bad...about like coils in the front and the rear is very smooth being that they are bags in the rear...but any ideas on the fenders?

if your tire tuck into your fenders or put any pressure on the wheel well then i would say it would probably be a waste of money. but i can't asnwer for sure because i don't know how hard or how low your car drops. i would suggest raising the car completely up in the air and have your friend drop the car hard while you watch that front fender react to the drop. then make a determination from there, since i can't see the car drop in person

I have them waiting to be painted.. when I picked them up it felt like they could break easily.. When I put them on, they felt very strong..
The stock fenders felt weaker when I had them of the car..

Well when my car is completely dropped its sitting at the top of the wheel...but i just dont want to go buy them and get them painted then the first time i drop the car they shatter...i havent really noticed any flexing or even any vibrations from dropping the car...i have yet to drop it all the way down at once i still ease it down...its too quick to just drop it at once...

they are not as fragile as you may think.
If you like them, go for them.
