I was wondering what you guys got in gas mileage for the GTS manual. I don't drive it hard, usually shift around 3.5k or 4k. I am not getting anywhere near the estimated 38 mpg highway that toyota specs. I am only getting about 27.5. Anything i could check or do? Thanks. -Josh

Who told you 38? The GT never even gets that. The best I've ever gotten with my auto GT is 33mpg. And the Auto GT gets better mileage than the manual GT. I think 27.5 is actually really good for a GTS

I have a manual GTS; my miles are mostly highway, and I get from 32 to 34 mpg. I don't drive it particularly aggressively.

It was over 300 but I don't recall the exact number. I'm lucky if I remember to reset the trip meter so... idunno

I've gotten about 475, but that was pushing it. Realistically I get 400 - 425.

I had a single bar left, the only time I let it get that low and the light came on -- 400 highway miles.

a prius will give you an average of 44 miles per galon, how is celica gonna give 38?
it really depends on how you drive. and since i put my intake, ive been gunning it soo much and i cant believe how gas is not burning more or as much as before. the intake seemed to improve gas mileage on my car, dunno how

I get around 32 on average and 34 if I drive like a good little boy spineyes

It is not that bad if I just drive to work, go out, then go home. But driving back and forth to school which is about a 45 minutes drive there and 45 minutes going back is starting to kick my ass in terms of filling up.
