Lambo doors with dual shocks?

I looked and didnt see at topic about this...so... I have seen kits that comes with dual shocks for each hinge. What is everyone's opinions about this. Does it have any benefit over 1 shock per hinge or is it just to charge more?

it's created by GT factory. They use dual shocks. The design is different amongst other lambo door kit out there for Celica. Also, the door goes up almost vertical.

its just a reason to charge more money. because 1 strong shock can equal 2 week ones and if its 2 strong ones, then it'll be hard closing the door

Yea, what Pnoy said... it is GT-Factory.

First of all... it's not a reason to charge more money, because the kit is actually $999 (tunerracing.com) vs. an average of $1400 for regular VDC kits out there.

Second... it is stronger because two struts are better than one & will help lift the door with more ease than with one.

Third... these are more or less universal struts. So if one happens to go, you can at least pick one up at I think it was a auto or hardware store (forgot where, exactly) for around $15.00 to $20.00. If one of your struts happens to go on most of the other kits out there... it's like a $150 replacement (est).

Fourth & Finally... it's not that hard to close the door at all. It will close with just one finger & very little pressure.

They do go vertical or near-vertical, depending on where you set it, but it will stay up at any length without wanting to go higher or fall down.

Yea, when I get home, I'll show a pic w/ it closed... it's closed like factory, so you can't even tell it's been modded.

There was some fender cut and you can notice it obviously when you open the door (since the hinge has to fit in there anyway)... but what is cut, it's really not going to be that big of a deal anyway since it has no effecton the appearance otherwise.
