this is a TRD M sport headlight and the other one is just a custom 350z headlamp with the inner plastic part covered with Carbon fibre. Well, this TRD M sport headlight cost few $$ grand, but the other one we can just DIY it ourself.the matter is, where to get this kinda Carbon Fiber material. sorry i had no idea thats y im asking al of u.

Anyone can share some info where to get this Carbon Fiber? I would prefer this custom Carbon Fiber rather than spending few thousand quit to get that "TRD" thingy and it dont look good after all. any opinion guys?

why are those REAL Carbon Fiber so expensive? hhmm... anyway if it can be done well its worth trying. thats my car beow and would it look nice with this kinda custom Carbon Fiber headlamp?
but em~ splitting the headlamp covers, isint that a risk? sometimes when the glues are not well glued theerfore our headlamp wil be fill with water vapor in it. thats the main problem.

yea thats a problem. c/f is always expensive, plus the work and tiem put in to modl it costs a bit. Another reson c/f is becomming really expensive is becasue a concept plane project is buying up all c/f fomr the companies that make it. so this summer will be a big rise in c/f pirices as well as a shortage in c/f products, esp hoods frown

you could always try and find c/f vinyl and open up the headlights and put them on the stock housing. If you're doing real c/f it may cost the same as getting the m-sport which was discontinued I believe

You have the right to your opinion but this is not the topic of this thread. thumbsup

ps i like them wink

With carobn fiber vinyl, it would match if you had the c/f tailights becasue they are the same pattern as the reg vonyl. but for those with c/f hoods and such it wont flow well and may look cheap frown but i woudl probably buy them smile

I think that the carbon fiber headlights came from the 350Z and if the two are compatible with eachother then eek try googling it under the 350Z

i think by wasting effort and $$ DIY customaking this Carbon Fiber headlamps doesnt worth it after all. Gotta buy the Carbon Fiber sheet that relly cost alot.
Maybe try spraying it black and put on a TRD Carbon Fiber eyelid. Whadaya think?
