most likely a gt since thats what he has. Is the auto gts faster in 0-60 than the auto gt? because when I test drove a auto gts it seemed to have noticeably slower acceleration

it would only be slower right off the line, auto gts lag really bad from 0-15mph

Yah, but I only changed the tranny cause the engine was toast. The old tranny still worked fine. The engine suffered oil starvation. Make sure you check your oil & figure out how much your burning, cause there is no warning.
