Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Racing Seats (Aftermarket)

Is there any special modifications need, I can use the universal slider that come with them. Just unbolt old seats and then drill and install new sliders and seats. Also what about the wiring harness that is under our seats. Thanks

I understand that the sliders are universal but the brackets are car specific.

As for wiring harnesses, there is one for the seatbelt on/off sensor which has white plugs. If you have side impact air bags, there is a wire harness for that too and it is bright yellow.

Will I need to buy some new brackets or what? I don't know?

if you buy something like sparco tornios, you will need the seat, sliders, and a seat bracket so you need 3 things

So where can I get the brackets for our cars.

I got my brackets from sparco.

Sparco has a set of brakcets. You can get them from Titanmotosports.com. I do not know about the other things that are needed. What I would do, is ask whoever you are buying them from.

good point the shop told me they were from sparco...and if I'm not wrong they have a sparco sticker on it...but who knows.
