I found this on Ebay, and I had to have it. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it now, but it's funny.

It's a decal from the inside of the new Ford GT. Car comes from the factory with the decal.

I thought it was funny because of the last line. Granted it's a supercar, who will really be driving in excess of 150mph. I thought it was funny that this comes from the factory on the car.

Got it, thanks. I posted this because I thought everybody might enjoy seeing it, being that not too many people get to see a Ford GT in person. I'm sorry I even bothered.

I know this isn't how it's supposed to be taken, but I'll save the thread and use it for comedy, but how the hell do you increase your tire pressure while driving 150 mph.

lol I sorta enjoyed it. I mean...it's there for one of those 'safety regulations' i'm sure. But what's funny about that is that someone probably got messed up test driving it and needed a sticker there...and I just think it would be cool to have a car that NEEDED a safety sticker like that.

The Ford GT has a recall on it because it may have a problem that could cuase a fatal crash, I forget what the recall was for but it was for something like 2000 units or so.

It's sort of a fun sticker to put on your car, but it actually is important. Lots of people with cars like the GT lap them... at speeds much over 150mph. It's a legit safety concern.

the funny thing about those types of warnings is that there are reasons they have them... like people who actually did the stupid thing to make it necessary to have a warning in the first place. not necessarily talking about this one in particular but warnings like this in general

anyway, on-topic, i think it would be hilarious to put this somewhere in your celica tongue

if i had a car that could do 205 mph, i would drive it 150 easy... i mean hell the celica can do like 120 so i do 120 when i can...

but what i dont like is that when my speedometer reads 140 max, and i can barely achive 130... why dont they just make them read the max it can do... though i guess older cars were set like that and were maxing out

The dimensions of the sticker are 6cm long x 2.4cm tall. It's not that big. My guess is that the sticker is found in the driver's door well of the car, like where we find our factory tire pressures and what not.

As far as putting it on my car, I'm not too sure about it. Do I really want to put it on my car? If I do, It'll go right where I suggested earlier it comes from.

Just like a few people suggested earlier, I bet this warning comes from somebody who found out the hard way. I would love to see the car from that lesson.

The on written on there is the theoretical top speed, which is a calculation of vehicle weight, horsepower, and I think trans gearing. The actual top speed is drag and horsepower limited.

There is a streaming video of the Ford GT and some info about it. Guy's got it going 150 in 4th gear! He claims it has a top speed of 214, but doesn't get to it cause he is "running out of road". Says the acceleration actually hurts your neck.

Anybody seen one of these in person, or better yet, know somebody that has one. The first to be sold around here in VA had a markup of $100,000 over sticker price. Man paid cash. Can I get in his will?
