They say a rock could have put a hole in my ac condenser, but what the f, 1000 dollars for a new one. c'mon.has this ever happened to anyone. can't I just get someone to patch it? weld it closed?

Yes, you can get a hole in it; I've had it happen to other cars. I haven't heard it could be caused by a rock though. No shop I've been to has ever said it could be welded
