All AEM guys quick question

Guys i had put on my Intake about a month back. It runs fine but today talkin to another celica owner, she suggested that the Intake should suck in air continouusly and not like its sputtering...she has an Injen Intake on her auto and it doesnt seem to sputter. This happens when my car is on idle. So basicaly i am asking is that normal for AEM Intakes or should i worry about it. The hoses and all their fittin looks good. Let me know.

Do you have a check engine light? If not, don't worry.
