Does anybody know any shocks better than original manufacture shocks?
I am looking for a really really comfortable, less noisy, and off course good in cornering.
My tire is Yokohama ES 100 215/40/17 ZR. The tire is so much better than Pirelli P7000. So I hope anybody know which shocks I should buy.
Is Koni or Bilstein good shocks?

I think you bought the wrong car . You won't really find too much in the aftermarket for the celica that has a softer ride than the stock suspension. Also, this statement is very very contradictory: "I am looking for a really really comfortable, less noisy, and of course good in cornering."

Thank you for the info. Because after I change my rims, I found out that my celica was so noisy. I think I have to bear with the noise then.

My LX470 has change on the fly shocks. It goes from Dodge Ram rough to marshmallowly smooth!!

Mabey someone has this setup for our car...There is a new electromagnetic shock out that changes the viscosity of the fluid by inducing a field in the metallic fluid! (I've seen it in the import mags) There is no telling what it will cost.

^^I saw those on TV, they looked sweet. Anyway, the best shocks are probably KYB AGX. If you want ride comfort and cornering ability, get a progressive rate spring or a full coilover set-up.

KYB AGX's are perfect for your situation since they're adjustable. I think at their softest settings, they're comprable to stock, maybe even a bit softer. I set mine a lot stiffer, though for the improved handling. It's one or the other

I don't think shocks will change a thing regarding road noise. Mine went up a bit too when switching to lower profile, 17 inch rims.

Hoq do you have your AGX shocks set up? All at the same setting?

Yeah, they are all set to the 3rd stiffest setting from 1 - 4.
