Neither, actually. The cross drilled are prone to cracking if the holes are drilled after casting. If the holes are cast into the rotor, they are a little stronger, but for street driven they really do nothing. They look cool, but that's about it. As far as slotted, they do dissipate heat, but think of each slot as a little knife, slicing away at your pad. What you want is a vented rotor, they will give you longevity and heat dissipation. Your best bet for street driven braking performance is a larger diameter rotor, and you only need the front, cause the rear won't do much but cost you money.

Here is an Install..Look at the pic with the rotor on and turned at the camera. You can see the big gap in the vented rotor. I like the fact that the pads can be changed without removine the calipers!

Slots are better than holes..holes crack when water splashes on them. Arn't the factor rotors vented? Bigger is better! The leverage thing kicks in so less work is needed by the pad!

I buy pads with lifetime warranties and I have a lift, so it's nothing for me to swap them out.

Stainless steel is the only way to go! but they cost too much cry

You buy pads with lifetime warranties??? Oh that's bad. Go get yourself some real brakepads before the ones you have chew a hole through your rotor.
