I'm talking about the little LCD that's on the fancy rearview mirror. You know, the one that dims out when bright lights are behind you and display outside temperature and compass.

The mirror still functions and dims out correctly, but the temp display is gone. It's not simple "off" either. Anyone else have this happen?

I have two choices, TRY to disassemble the mirror and see if it's fixable, or go to Toyota and get a new mirror, which would probably cost way too much frown

I'd rather have no display than spend that kind of money right now. It's just a slight annoyance. I would understand if it wasn't getting power or something, but the dimming part works, so it's gotta be just the LCD screwed up or burnt out.

I have no idea how to remove the rearview mirror, even if I wanted to take it apart to see what's going on.
