Ive noticed for sometime now that whenever my aftermarket HIDs go on or before when my nightlights would go on (when it was getting dark out) the clock dims. I have read several threads here on ecelica & in new celica about this issue happening to other Celica owners. So, I figured it wasnt an uncommon issue but I still tried to correct it by purchasing an Optima Yellow Top Battery, Grounding Kit and AEM Tru-Power Pulley Kit. I do have to admit that those parts did improve the situation but it didnt correct the issue. However, today after reading several threads I stumbled across this website http://www.celica-online.de/. At 1st I just went in to look at the pics in the gallery but then I notice that it had an install section. After looking at the pics and trying to decipher the words with Freetranslation.com because its written in GERMAN, I think it has something to do with the clock dimming. Am I wrong? Is this a guide to correct this issue? Does anyone know German that can translate this for me???
