Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Corollas, Accords, and Civics...

I got an auto GT with AEM CAI... yeah it's slow blah blah blah but I paid more than those with the 5 speed so please don't make any comment on that ... anywayz, I see a lot of fixed up corollas, accords, and civics (manual & auto) around here and I wonder if my car could beat or at least keep up with them because I have a couple that reved at me this evening but there were too many cars around I don't know what they were thinking. I know civic hatch are definitly unpreditable because they can be really slow or really really fast... I raced one on 405 after he cut me off right before the on-ramp where two lanes are merging and i had to brake so hard it almost made my car spin off the road... damn ricers ... I followed him and noticed he got about 4 people in the car and they all were staring at me and my girlfriend so we both gunned it but we were dead even until I hit about 90 then he started to gain on him then he shut it down and never caught up with me again... i guess he was embarrased or something but that made me feel good as hell...

well let me be the first! i guess you had quite a interesting night/ you want to know what kind of cars you can beat..well the only way to find out is to race but i'm not suggesting it. you do have an auto gt so know its limitations. i have it also

Yeah, people with manuals have no reason to hate. It's only a transmission, and they did pay less. :

See if they'll pop their hood. If it's modded more than yours for sure, then forget it. Just my 2cents.
