everytime i rear or just rolling back then brake, my brakes makes a loud ass squeeling sound. It's so annoying and makes the celica sound cheap. Also when i pull up the ebrake when i'm parked, it creeks. I just don't like it. Do any of you guys have this problem? Any solutions? Please help. thanks.

^^see...i'm in the same boat. I get mad as hell also. I know there is a cheap solution. I just need to figure it out. I use to only do it when it was cold outside. Now when it's hot, it still does it.

look at the pad, if you see the sensor rubbing, thats means your out of breaks, its a lil metal wire.

dude first off, if the problem in fact is that you dont have breaks, it'll cost you around 80 bucks to get intsalled, if your cards pretty new go check the damn sensor man so you dont waste your money, see if its expoosed to the rotor.

ok if you cant see the break bad throug your rim, take the rim off look at the pad, theres a lil wire, near the pad tat when its worn down enough, it scratches the rotor when you break, to tell you hey get some fuckin breaks...here let me find a pic to help you out.

I had the same problem with my GT. Since it only happens in reverse, that doesn't mean you need new brakes or pads. What you need to do is go down to the local car parts shop (Pep Boys is where I got mine) and pick up a package of Anti-Squeal Brake Grease. It goes between the shims that back the pad. It's really sticky and prevents unneccesary squealing of the brakes. This solved the problem about 95% of the time for me. It still will squeak from time to time, but NOWHERE near like the way it use to.

anybody know about the ebrakes..actually, it might now even be the ebrake. Sometimes when i sit in my car, and move around it creeks. Do any of you get this? I rather fix this than teh squeel to tell you the truth.

You don't need new brakes. This sh*t seems to occur on most Celicas. My GT never did this, but my GTS is doing this only in reverse.

Interestingly enough, I have this same problem. But I figure there is two possible fixes: 1) new shocks, or 2) lose some weight. And since I've already done #1, I guess all that's left is #2.

On the real, maybe lube the shock shaft and the bushings. Be more gentle getting in and out. I have achy knees, so I'm forced to get in and out slow.

yeah, i think something needs to be lubed up..but i don't know where it needs to be. Maybe i should take it to a shop and ask. It's just i'm lazy as hell becauase my car is so damn low and most shops can't jack it up. oh well..
