Since I got my car a month ago I've noticed how some people act around me when I'm in my GTS. People like to subtly race me if that makes any sense. At the light they'll try to get off the line quicker or if I'm trying to get by on the passing lane they'll accelerate off. If they see me from a distance they would speed up and ride my bumper or cut me off for no reason. I also get people trying to show-off too. Basically I'm getting fed up with it. I've never experienced any of these behavior from people when I was driving the Cadi.

But I guess it makes up for it when people give me compliments on the car and when I smoke those haters. It's also a chick magnet

Yeah it happens to me as well, I just laugh at races most of the time. Sometimes I just iggy them, one guy even got caught by a cop. When I returned the same way his car was being put on a roll back.

Try not to street race to much. But the best for me when ppl where standing outside HomeDepot looking over my car with there hands behind there back and lol didn't know what kind of car it was. More compliments, than haters so far

They just can't stand it!

damn...i was sitting at a red light the other day and i was just chillin there waiting for it to turn green. there was no cross traffic... then i heard a fart can civic coming down the road. right before he went through the intersection, he looked over to see me waiting on the red light and when he went through the intersect, he reved the shit out of that can untill the bitch rattled my ears off, then he just cept goin and lookin at me like he just beat me in a race! i can believe he didnt put his flashers on to show who won! it was a good race though...you know how hard it is to beat a guy sitting in cross traffic at a red light!?!?!?

yup its a good thing. love the compliments. yea some older guys dont knwo what it is and admire it. then you get punk teens who think there 20 year old clunking civic will tear you a new one

I know exactly what you're talking about. I actually find it amusing. It's good entertainment. You gotta point and laugh at 'em to let 'em know how pathetic they are.

But the nicest rides I've seen on the road have always been decent, courteous drivers. So don't get mad and start driving like an ass and fall in the category of these kids with wings and fart pipes on their Cavaliers, or what have you.

True, the nice rides are always the most courteous. Sorta like, yeah, you're part of the club.

i get guys in big trucks, like f-250s or something, at stoplights and they start revvin up to race me. im like, give me a break. my friend drives a chevy s10 and he was like "hey, i beat i could beat you because i learned how to double-shift" im thinkin...you really think that would help you out? but what really made me laugh was when i was at this highway intersection at 2am with the flashing red lights, some idiot in a civic pulled up next to me and started revvin up. i knew that particular intersection really well cause i drove that road to school everyday in high school...cops loved that road, even at 2am (saw them there coming home from out of town football games)...anyway, i rev up to amuse the civic, he peels out, i lag behind, he jets off and gets pulled over. i just laughed as i passed by going the limit. so, to answer your question...yea, it happens.
