Apparently after for running no more than 2 or 3 months my 2 10' Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 subs decided to blow on me. I WASTED 500 bucks on the pair (shipping to the Virgin Islands). I dunno if I just got fucked or fosgate subs suck. Now i got a nice 1000watt Fosgate amp just chillin in my car :-/

car audio is the most missunderstood area in car fourms (well not really but anyway)
jsut because you have a 500 watt amp doesn't mean its driving it at 500 watts jsut because one speaker blows at a lower wattage doesn't mean anything even notice how some songs you can blast and others you cant or is gets all sitorted wel there ya go too much of a certain frequency will blow speakers quick

but that does suck time to upgrade lol

hey thats a 20 minute phone call

Replace with one Elemental Design sub and it will blow away most people's systems, and the price is better then JL. www.edesignaudio.com [edesignaudio.com]

ahh see I got mine off of one of those ebay guys which is grey market not an authorized dealer so I think i just lost teh subs. Then sending it from the virgin islands to Rockford (75 bucks) just for them to reject me :-(

the worst part is I just ordered my rims, vertical doors, and kam kit so I am broke as balls can be.

thanks for your guys help i'mma try and contact rockford and if no go i'll check otu the Elemental Design (how is the quality) or i'll just save up for a W7.

Hey, that sucks man.
I got my Infinicy 1230 W 12" subs from ebay (sellerID: oceans_no1 or eldirect [their the same person]) and I only paid $50 USD for both. I don't know how much shipping would be for you, but it's worth a try. I haven't blown these as of yet, and they are incredible with my deck (Pioneer DEH-P9600MP)!
Hope it helps!

See Soloberiks don't have sound quality. I only buy stuff with sound quality thats why I will go and spend a lil more on JL's because i know they have sound quality.

Woot! ED brother in the house! Haha, just got my pair of 13kv2's and the nine.1 amp. Can't wait to get these beasts hooked up. I'm a little scared that they're going to crack the molding on my rear bumper. grin
