Okay so my check engine light came on last week so i brought my car in monday to the dealership to my friends dad who works there. he told me that my A/F sensor melted... He said this could be caused from auto-x and causing too much backpressure. Now i'm not a big fan of N/A for I/H/E on a 4 banger when going for speed but im building my car for Auto-x. Right now ive been working on suspension/wheels/tires and then possibly a supercharger.

Anyways, he said that to avoid this i need to upgrade my exhaust system. I really didnt wanna do this unless i was planning on boosting but im wondering if this sounds right to you guys?

He claimed it was my A/F sensor. is this the same thing as the o2 sensor or do our toy's have extra gadgets?
