I got some aftermarket fogs with the angel eye already on it and all...but the problem is that the angel eye clips onto the aftermarket fog light, and my stock fogs have a bubble around the fogs so I cannot clip the angel eye on them. I didn't realize they were going to come like this, so my question is - what do I do?

a) remove stock fog lights and put these in their place and sell the stock ones
b) take the angel eye clip off of the aftermarket fogs and shave off the clip somehow and attach it into my headlight enclosure (would fit perfectly, I've tried. Only problem is that the angel eye is in a black plastic ring with clips so I'm afraid the headlights would melt it and whatever I use to attach it to the headlight enclosure. I don't know how I'd get the angel eye out of the black plastic ring, hairdrier? LOL)

Thanks,
Kristin

I'm just not sure if there's a downside to swapping my stock ones with these. I wouldn't think there would be, but who knows LOL. How much you looking on spending on some stock fogs? I'm not swapping them for a few weeks, I'm doing all the headlight work and front end stuff on a weekend coming up, prolly the one after easter weekend, so I wouldn't be able to get them to you til prolly like the first week of april.

the projection of light from the stock ones are nice thumbsup as the light is put out by the projector lens

versus the reflector in the aftermarket ones you bought..

just not sure how well thhose aftermarket ones are confused

I don't know how good they are either, but the projector does look better on the stocks, so I guess I won't know until I put them on. I'll have the bumper off anyway, so it won't be too much hassle I don't think. I need to get to them anyway to change the bulb - I got bluish ones from the ecelica store.

I'll post pics when I finish. I'm not too concerned with how the fog lights project, I really don't use them much here in AZ, not too much fog here hehe. Maybe we need "dust" lights LOL.
