if i could find a rear disk brake assembly from a scrapped gts...what are all of the parts that i would need (hoses, linkage...ect.) from that assembly to convert my gt's rear brakes to disks? and also... how hard would that conversion be?

You need the entire rear assembly(calipers, rotors, hub, the knuckle to make it easy, E-brake cables and new brake lines because the GTS uses banjo bolts where as GT doesn't) You may also need the master cylinder, but it is not crucial. I have all the pieces to do it but I haven't installed it yet. It shouldn't be a hard thing to do. Just time conmsuming if you don't have a lift.

the coversion is sort of hard. hooking of the e-brake line is the hardest part.

if you want stronger braking power then just get some new braking fluid, better brake pads and SS lines. you'll increase you braking power more than from the brake conversion

yup...its not completely for the braking power... its just that after dropping the car and getting 17" wheels, there is so much that you can see between the spokes now in the rear that those f'n drums look like shit! i want the rodors all the way around and later a big brake kit! being able to see those red eibachs underthere is nice too! thumbsup

btw, live42day, thanks for all of the parts info! and do yall know if that Vpower conversion also comes with front rotors and front calipers...cause if not that would funny as hell to have stock parts on the front assemble and a nice assembly in the back! rofl and for that price they should!
