Check this out. He made a mini-computer and put in a touch screen. If you got a touch screen and mounted it, with the right wiring i believe you could have all the monitors in your car display whatever your looking at. You could wire the sound to from your aux port on your head unit for sound. With the right tv tuner in there you could even play your ps2/xbox through the touchscreen/all the monitors with the sound. Now that would look good in my car. Any ideas for a good mounting place?

PS: $1000 -> good mini computer in car (with large hd) -> a lot of room to just about anything.

Nice toys thumbsup Mounting under the glovebox or in the center console (between the front seats) are some ideas.

put it in the back if you have a custom set up. just make a custom case wit a window cutout out of fiberglass. throw some cold cathodes in there n ur all set.

my boy is putting a "carputer" with a 15inch touchscreen in his dodge ram truck in a month or so.

he's already got the monitor, hdd, ram, but no motherboard yet

i'll keep you guys posted as we get the install done
