I hear they are amazing, but dealers who install the 3M product are few and far between (at least in CT)

My Celi is black, and the pitting from tiny rocks and sand to the front end is simply beyond belief, esp with the bullshit winter we're having. As soon as I hear of a local dealer who installs the clear bra, I'm there! wink

I have the 3M clear bra on my celica, worth every penny & more. My car was absolutely red then I got in a wreck & decided to change color of car to a custom yellow. When car was red I had a lot of chips in paint on both hood & front bumper. Decided if I'm going to get a new paint job I might as well protect it. I'm in the sign business & decided to research & apply to my car. Feel free to ask me any questions or PM me about this amazing product. More than 3 feet away it's invisible, also protects from tree sap, bug splats & bird droppings. Won't yellow, completely removable without damage to paint, 8 year durability & can withstand rocks up to 1/4" @60mph. I've had this product on my car for 2 years & not one chip in paint(only on the clear & prevented damage to paint job). Car is in storage otherwise I would post you a pic showing where rocks hit without damage.

Sorry to correct you but there are no downsides to it. It's completly removeable without damaging paint as long as it's cured properly before applying.

Yes, it works on any aftermarket bumpers. I have a Kaminari front bumper & I completely covered it(see pics). The only down side is that the kit has to be custom made. Pre-made kits are made only for stock bumper.

Hard to say because I got a great deal because I know the owner of my shop. Put TRD wing on from stock, put on side skirts, hood scoop & both bumpers, fitted & painted w/3 coats of clear $1900.

You can wax it just like your paint. I wax the clear bra regularly & then the bugs & bird droppings come off very easily.
