so i called toyota of north hollywood to get a replacement for my lower lip that i lost, so i called and they said 66.00 plus tax...since i dont like to deal with north hollywood toyota i called the glendale one. he was asking 78.00 plus tax, so i decided to call back again and see if they do a price comparison and so they did, and i got him to drop it by 10 % grin thumbsup

Finally i owned toyota for a change.

Toyota Dealers suck. I hate their styles, it's badgering and annoying.

definately. i can't stand anytime i have to deal with someone from toyota, whether its a dealership, corporate, or toyota certified (the holders of my warranty).

and they wonder why j.d. power & associates ranks them among the worst in customer service. go figure

And ironically, Lexus is first, or second. Go figure.

u can bargain on any item from the dealership. whenever they give you a price, just say wuts the discount price, it really works.

plus once the employees of the dealership hear celica, they lose hope. its like they dont like the car. thats why i like to call it toyota camry dealership, cz all they really know is camrys and expect to sell all their cars like hotcake camrys.

fuck i hate toyota of north hollywood. they are all a bunch of asses. i had to pick up a fender liner. i was at a junkyard, and this one armo guy told me that he picked one up from their for like 52 bucks or something. he said that they ask for more, just tell them that i picked it up for that much, and hell hook you up. so i go by and the worker says something like 75 bucks. im like nah man, i had someone pick it up for 50 bucks. hes like ya well, this is our price, if you dont want it, then dont get it. i felt like backhanding the mother [censored], but i just left all pissed off.

Old Rant about Toyota of NoHo rofl

Well, They did it to me again... and then again... and just recently did it again (North Hollywood Toyota)

In 2000, I wanted to buy a second brand new car with them - so I called and told them I wanted a red, automatic two-door echo (yes, echo) and they said they had many of these on their lot for me to choose from. once I got there, not only did they just have only TWO echo available, but none of them were 2 door and none of them were automatics... to they schemed me to come down - even after I talked to their rep for about 15 minutes regarding this. When I got there, they guy tried selling me a truck instead.

Second time was mid 2002, I was looking to buy a stock front grill for a 2002 Toyota Celica - they told me they had several in stock. I promptly went down again, only to find that they had none and I would need to place a special order for these.

Now today, all I needed was basic car repair items - things that ALL Toyota service departments should ALWAYS have in stock 7 days a week... I needed a stock gas-cap and a set of 4 spark plugs (nothing special, just the usual items that are replaced in a 75k maint) I called in advance and spoke with their parts department - was told that both items were available and to just come down and pick them up

I got there and found that none of them were available - I should place a special order for the gas cap and I should check back next week for the basic Toyota Celica gt spark plugs (i wonder what they use when they do routine maint... ??? since they obviously do NOT have the parts to correct service the cars they say sell)

I took a trip up to Hammer Toyota and was given EXCELLENT customer service, very prompt and very though - I got all the parts I needed and was even given a discount without any hesitation. (2001 Toyota Celica gt replacement gas-cap was $15+ tax and the Denso iridium sparks were $11+ tax)
