with 80K your stockies will blow in under a month on lowered springs (trust me i know from experience). better invest on some tokiko hps or gr-2s...or if you want more performance go with kyb-agxs, tokiko illuminas, or koni reds...
if you want to up it go with koni yellows...

Just to clarify because I cant tell if you know or not, but shocks and struts are the same thing.
BETWEEN WHO YOU ARE AND WHO YOU COULD BE BETWEEN HOW IT IS AND HOW IT SHOULD BE

no they are not. the assembly of a strut is different than a shock.

Q: What is the difference between shock absorbers and struts? A. Struts and shocks are very similar in function, but very different in design. The job of both is to control excessive spring motion; however, struts are also a structural component of the suspension. Struts can take the place of two or three conventional suspension components and are often used as a pivot point for steering and to adjust the position of the wheels for alignment purposes
so I guess shocks the only purpose is to absorbe the spring bounce while struts can surve more purposes like attaching parts. I think we do have all four struts. shocks are probably more like you'd see on trucks with springs in one location and control arms and shocks in another section, while our struts hold the springs pivot to turn the wheels and hold the it in place.

YES, i suggest you get shocks/struts installed the same time you get ur springs installed cause it will save you some money... i have tein s-tech and Tokico HP shocks/struts (they are awesome)...
