Ok the squeaking noise is geting a little crazy right now. Sprays only work until I hit hight rpms then they go away or they only work for a few days then the damn squeak comes back. The next thing I am going to try is the belt dressing but if that does not work then Im going to get the parts to change the tensioner and change the belt to a gatorback.
The question is has anyone done this yet? And if so was it hard to do? What did you have to do to take apart to change the tensioner and the belt? Just the few bolts holding the tensioner in place? Basically a write up on this would be nice but I know thats a lot of trouble so just a nudge in the right direction would be helpful.
I would rather do this on my own then go to a mechanic and get charged 300 bucks to do it. My car is not under warrenty anymore so thats not an option.
