hey guys right now I'm trying to make just a simple fiberglass mold of a square piece of wood. That way when I get good enough, I'll make a mold of my gas door and layer it thick. Then lay the carbon fiber of it.
My question is, is the resign only good for a one time use only? When I first used it to fix my bumper it hardened nicely. Now when I opened the container the resign was a dark brown color not the usual light brown color. After mixing with the hardener, it turned terquoise. The first time it came out right, it stayed on the light brown side. When it dries now, it doesn't come hard anymore, it feels like a tarp material. Is it my resin that's messing everything up?
Any other tips would be great. thanks
