guys my clutch is about to be gone, i cant go on the throtle all the way because it starts to slip. i was planing on getting a fidanza flywheel but i dunno wats the best conbo. can yah help me out? wats the best clutch out there for our cars? i was going to get trd from japan sence its a lot better than oem.and i mean something that can hold some power because im gong NA and ill be pushing well over 200 ponies

get an rps sprung hub clutch if you get the fidanza flywheel. any lightweight flywheel you buy should only be accompanied by a spurng-hub clutch (not just rps).

i wouldnt recommend the act street clutch (the most popular choice of cluth on this site) with the fidanza because it is not sprung-hub. if you were using the stock flywheel that would be another story.

im confused. you said i should get a clutch with spurng hub, and then you said i should get the act street clutch because its not a sprung hub?
im going to get the fidanza no matter wat, but wat clutch would be best for it?

I'm in the sane boat clos, I'm looking at a fidanza too. Whats a sprung hub? what does it do? I was looking at an RPS Max street clutch.

sprung hub = springs in hub (for shock absorption on engagement)

thanks for clearing that up. i did say it correctly the first time though..i would NOT recommend the act street with a lightweight flywheel.

and JLTURA..the rpx max is fine with the fidanza flywheel. it's 6-puck though so engagement is a little harsh than a continuous disc, but it's not too bad. on a sidenote...are you still trying to do a carbon fiber fabrication of a ram-air-like device to direct air to a shortram filter? i'm in the same boat as you. just wondering thumbsup

hey man, the rps is 15% stifer than stock and the puck have alternating materials (carbon and metal), the continuous disk is 60% over stock... wtf. SO i figure why not the 6 puck.

Actually I decided to work on a completely Carbon Fiber cold air tube, it'd be similar to the TPR, but it'll be a little different because I want my filter a little further up etc...

i'll prob be using the 6-puck too, was just giving you a headsup on a bit harsher engagement.

tell me how the carbon fiber tube goes...i'm all ears. tell me how you do it as well cause at this point i'm all about using funoodles from wal-mart rofl rofl i just really don't feel like doing a two-part mold.

6 puck is harsher on the tranny, it will grab almost immediatly unlike a full disk your used to where you can gently get it going, thats the only downside the 4 and 6 puck clutches, personnally for myself, i'll be putting down about 240-250 to the wheels by the end of summer and i'm gonna go with the rps max, its good til 300 ft/lbs of torque and would be able to handle your 200hp and wouldn't be jerking your tranny around as much.
