Does anyone here know the requirements needed in order to work as a certified toyota tecnician besides for needing a 2 year degree and a ASE certification?

They will want someone with experience or someone that will persevere. Understand. They don't want some hotshot thinking he knows everything. I know this because I started out as an intern mechanic at an independent shop while my friend was an intern mechanic at Toyota. After a year of getting my ass kicked everyday, they let move on up to a Level Tech. I learned so much there. Hope this helps you out.
If you really want to know though, go up there and ask. It also couldn't hurt to say that you will be their 'bitch'/intern for a while and learn under someone...known as a mentor.
