I was wondering how the heck do i use cruise control. I know its kinda stupid but i've try like crazy and nutting works. It's somehting that that dealer has to install. I used to have cruise control on my first car (98 Civic) And it worked fine. but now on my celica it doesn't work. Can anybody help me on this.. thank ya'll

i thought you just go like a certain high speed like maybe 50 then press it? i never really use it

turn on your cruise control.. when you want to use it, press down on the switch to set it at that point.

i've try all those things and nothing happens. Thats why i asked. because i though it was something that the dealer had to do...

if it has the option in ur car..it should have it already. did you buy ur car brand new?

yeah cruise control was kind of weird for me to use, but i finally got it. You have be going over 25mph for it to work. When you're above 25mph.. click Cruise control so the green "CRUISE" light shows on the gauge. Then, push your gas (or brake) to the speed you want it at, and then pull the cruise control lever down. It'll be "set". After it's set, you can raise the mph by holding the lever up to the speed you want.

its fun driving with the cruise control lever..lol..i do it sometimes when im driving on base..the speed starts at 35 then goes down to 25 then up..its easier than putting the foot on the brake..1st time i got the celi..i was like the same thing...i didnt know how to use it..but i had a 35 min drive from where a got my car at so i figured it out driving home...

I abuse the cruise in town. Most main road speed in town are 60kmh, so I set it around 65kmh & then I don't have to look at the spedo anymore.
