Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Future mods...need opinions

OK...This is coming within the end of the summer. I plan on just buying shit as i go. Ya know, like an intake here, suspension there. I just need some opinion on product choice.


Ignintion - Now since we run coil packs, i know this is as best as i'm going to get. What about coil, wire, plugs. MSD?

Suspension - This is probably one of the first things i want to get. I thinking probably the entire TRD suspension. I want something that sticks good, the wear is decent, and doesn't dop that much. (and i know TRD is only like 3/4 of an inch drop)

Engine Management - Power FC. I heard many good things and many bad things. Help

Clutch/Flywheel - I'm thinkin about just a simple street clutch from ACT, but dont know about flywheel.

and probably HID's - thinkin PIAA, but dont know shit about HID's. which exact one should i buy?

I havent really heard anything about ignition mods for the celica so I am thinking those mods arent suited for the celica. For the suspension I would get the hotchkis front sway and rear sway for about 220 shipped. Then I would get the trd springs with kyb gr2 struts (the exact same thing as trd struts). The only bad thing about the powerfc is that since it is a replaces the stock ecu, you wont get a cel (check engine light) when something goes wrong with your car. Make sure you have a good tuner tune the powerfc to suit your car.
