Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior can rims be powdercoated except for leaving the lip silver?

could these be powdercoated a dark color but have the lip be left silver? i want dark rims and a polished lip but most like that have such a thick lip that the spokes are like 15 or 16 inches instead of the whol diamter (18"). this would solve my whole problem. the spokes are long and go the full diameter of the rim, but it would still have a thin polished lip.

why not buy rims the color you want
and those wouldn't look right with the lip, because there is no lip lol

Yes you can. Some member on here has a black celi with rims that he powercoated where the spokes were black and still have a polished lip.

you'd have to get chrome wheels and then powerder coat the spokes to get a polished lip look. polished lips are a lot shinier than gray/silver.
