can our cars handle hid's at 12000k? if not, what's the highest they can go?

i think if you get the hid the new ballasts can handgle whatever the k is. But i hope you know that at 12000k you will have aobut zero visiblity. Better have some bright strong foglights to light up the road frown. 8000k is the most i would saftly go so you can still drive at night

I never heard of anyone putting 12000k but the projectors hold up at 8000k as some people use it..

for looks anything from 6000k and over..

but 4100-4300k is optimal for best lighting of the road spineyes and that's what stock oem hid use.. the color is due to the projector and other things due to design

thats why i got spark blues (7500k) for just fogs. color is great but cant see worh a damn smile

12000k will work if it uses 35 watts, but like everyone else has said, you won't see sh*t at nite. 6500k is the highest I'd go. That's what I'm using and I see everything at nite.

i have the 8000k mcculloghs. i love them. i see fine and they look greeatt..ill post pics when i get my car back, ill post a lot of pics when it comes back grin
