Finally went from powered antenna to non powered with the S2000 antenna. Also figured I throw in a pic of my new tools.

...hey did you just pull out the motor for the antenna!?!?!?!?...i hate the power antenna/lighting rod/police interceptor/metal boner??????...did you have n-e prob. w/ da motor when its out?!?!?!?...let me thumbsup

i think you have to change out the base. sucks because mine(heres a shocker) stoped working, and i can't just get a s2k antenna. no, it won't have any problems without the motor, hell, mine was trashed.

Yeah I replaced the whole base, it was really easy. It took me like 5 minutes. I just had to remove some of the side plastics a little and it was one nut and then the screw on the outside of the car where the antenna is. The nonpowered base goes right in the same place, one nut also and then connect the antenna wire. Real easy.

hey 1gts2nv, you should write a guideline on how to change the power antenna to an S2000 antenna. many people with power antennas want to do the switch, but dont know how thumbsup
