k I have 2 12's in a box and right now that box is sitting in my trunk with the speakers facing the back...does anyone think I'd get better sound if they were facing up or towards the inside of the car?

Thanks

nope, not really. subwoofers don't have to be aimed as speakers/tweaters do.

also, make sure your box is bolted or strapped down..you will notice a good increase in 'punch' thumbsup

bolt it down... so if anyone ever breaks in they will have a hell of a hard time taking your subs.. believe me you will think you will never get broken into... then it happens and you bolt your shit to your cars frame..

I've had a system stolen before, but not from any of my celica's...I wanted to just have it bolted down so it'd be harder for anyone to steal...but I never thought it'd increase sound quality! How does it increase it? I've never heard of that smile I've been wanting to do something to it to stop it from sliding towards the rear of the trunk.

Well, amps are mounted to the back of each of the rear seats...not sure if they are star screws or not though. I'll be sure to check and switch them if they aren't though! My luck, they'll break in and not be able to take the star screws off and they'll rip them off my seats or steal the seats LOL.

About how much would it cost to have someone bolt my box down? I have no clue how to do it.
