I am probably going to order a set of ground wires today, has anyone dynoed these on their car? Or do you know of really good grounding points. I'm sure that it tells you in the instruction manual but I want to know if anyone noticed good gains by experimenting?

It'll give you a decent gain in hp and torque (if consider about 4-5 hp decent) IF you ground them in the right places.

HKS has a universal kit that you can use. Their kit for my car came with Japanese instructions, and the installation drawings weren't too specific, so...I guess I have mine on right. confused

There's probably a lot more celica-specific grounding kits out there that come with instructions written in engrish.

Im glad you spend a lot of time on the internet Rice. You seem to know what you are talking about. So what grounding points did you use on your rsx?

Someone here was selling the ground wire kit a while ago. Here is the old thread.

each car has different gounding points that are specific to that vehicle for optimal horsepower/torque. (what works best on a mazda protege may not work well on a nissan altima, for example). i havnt seen anything on a celica so far, and if you cannot find any information...the best thing to do would take it to a local performance shop that has dynonameter testing to see what works best. (unless, of course, you own your own consumer dynonameter).

also, the grounding wires will increase your horses by about 1-2 and your torque 1-2 as well..IF they are grounded in good places. grounding wires usually aren't considerred a performance upgrade per say, but they are affordable. (if they are grounded in bad places you can actually lose a horse or two)

oh, and if you do find information..see if its possible to get a dynonameter readout thumbsup just because something feels faster or more powerful doesnt mean it actually is. good luck!
