Hey guys what is the difference between projectors, and HIDs? whats better? what looks better? whats brigther?

our cars come with projectors.. but come with projectors designed for halogen bulb use..


some celicas come with hid projectors designed for hid's so they get a nice prism effect you see with most hids that come stock..

best is hid projectors and they're brighter due to the hid d2r/d2s bulbs which work due to the ballast/starter ..

Yep. Our headlights are projector type. Compare them to other cars...you'll see the difference. That was one of the things I liked about the 7th Gen when I got mine back in 2000.

BTW...HID stands for high intensity discharge which gives you improved lighting compared to halogen bulbs.
